Commercial Christmas displays: what to book and when
Garlands, wreaths and exterior decoration transform commercial premises at Christmas — but the best displays are booked months ahead. Here is how to plan yours.
For pubs, hotels, shops and offices, Christmas is the one time of year when the outside of the building matters as much as the inside. A well-dressed entrance — a garland around the door, wreaths on the windows, warm lights in the greenery — tells every passer-by that something worth stepping into is happening inside.
What a commercial Christmas display can include
The most effective displays are built from a few well-chosen elements rather than everything at once. Fresh or lifelike garlands framing doorways and porches, dressed wreaths for doors and windows, exterior-grade lighting woven through greenery, and planted arrangements or small trees at the entrance all work together. The key is that everything is sized and styled to the building, not bought off a shelf.
When to book
This is the part that catches people out. Quality commercial Christmas work is planned in summer and autumn, not December. Booking early means your design is properly thought through, materials are reserved, and installation happens in November — so your display is ready the moment the season begins, and stays fresh through to the new year. Leave it until December and you are choosing from what is left.
Installation and takedown, handled
A managed service means you never climb a ladder or wrestle with a timer plug. Installation is carried out professionally at a time that suits your trading hours, and everything is taken down and cleared away in January. You get the atmosphere; we do the work.
We design, install and remove Christmas garlands, wreaths and exterior decoration for commercial premises across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. If you would like your premises dressed for next Christmas, the best time to talk to us is now — get in touch for a free consultation.
